They may not seem like obvious accessories for a rock star – even if lockdown has prompted many to take up unusual hobbies.
But we’re not kidding – Sir Rod Steward, 76, and wife Penny Lancaster have taken on some pet goats.
The pair even built the pygmy trio an enclosure at their Essex home – complete with a playground.
They made the latest changes at their Grade II listed 18th century mansion on the edge of Epping Forest to ensure that Rupert, Biscuit and Hazel had enough space.
Aerial shots show they have their own shelter as well as a climbing frame apparently attached to a tractor.
Miss Lancaster, 50, said on Instagram: ‘Falling in love with my new five-month-old pygmy goats, Rupert, Biscuit and Hazel.’
She joked that she was a ‘crazy goat lady’ as she shared a snap of herself feeding one a crisp from her mouth.
The couple moved in with sons Alastair, 15, and Aiden, ten, in 2016 three years after buying the ten-bedroom home for £4.7million, then giving it a makeover.
